I’ve just found a wonderful complete scan of the first issue of Osawatomie, the Weather Underground’s newsletter. In it they lay out their plan to “revolutionize” our country, “working from the inside”, encouraging “organizers” who will work in “communities” and use “audacity” to bring about “socialism” in America. It’s a really interesting look at what the Weather Underground stood for, the messages behind the bombings. Check it out, it’s really enlightening, fascinating, and kind of depressing.

When Bill Ayers wrote the book “Prairie Fire” in the 1970’s, his dedication list included Sirhan Sirhan, the man who assassinated Robert Kennedy.
When Fox News cornered Ayers outside his home, Ayers was wearing a t-shirt with a big red star on it.
The man is a dyed-in-the-wool communist. Using that term is no hyperbole. He really, truly, is a communist. He’d probably be the first one to tell you he is.
He’s not alone – many of the university professors who grew up in the 60’s are genuine communists – people who didn’t merely oppose the Vietnam War but SUPPORTED our enemies. This is no Red Scare – they are the genuine article.
On his website, Bill Ayers gives the US government’s definition of “terrorism” and deftly twists it to accuse Israel and the United State of terrorism. I was an Antiterrorism Instructor for the US Army and this jerk doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Terrorism is a CRIMINAL act – nations may LEGALLY engage in warfare and security operations. Persons and groups are NOT allowed to wage their own personal wars – if they do so, they are MURDERERS.
It may not seem “fair” to Bill Ayers that his brand of “freedom fighters” cannot legally engage in warfare while nation-states do, but that’s the LAW. He’s already demonstrated that he has little regard for the rule of law.
