Robert over at POW in CA posted a link to the funniest site! I had a great time playing with it, so I thought you all might like to check it out too:
The Barack Obama Inauguration Speech Generator!
What is it, you ask? It’s just like madlibs, except it’s made especially for people who are mad at liberals!
Just follow the instructions, put in a few choice adjectives, verbs, and nouns – be sure not to forget all the hope and change! – and you’re good to go. It’s just that simple! Finally this explains how all those toolerrific 20-somethings have gotten hired to be Obama’s speechwriters, despite being idiotic enough to post compromising photos of themselves on Facebook. One more mystery solved!
If you’d like to see the speech I came up with, click “More.” Honestly, I’m quite proud of it! ![]()
Honest to goodness, here are the very first words I selected, complete with a screencap from the site (I just had to do a bit of rearranging of the screencap to make it fit inside the margins of this site):

Now, my very own version of…
Barack Obama’s Inauguration Speech
by MegMy fellow Americans, today is a hopeful day. You have shown the world that “hope” is not just another word for “hope”, and that “change” is not only something we can believe in again, but something we can actually change.
Today we celebrate, but let there be no mistake – America faces good and fair challenges like never before. Our economy is decent. Americans can barely afford their mortgages, let alone have enough money left over for puppies. Our healthcare system is happy. If your toe is sick and you don’t have insurance, you might as well call a plumber. And America’s image overseas is tarnished like a marshmallow action figure. But hoping together we can right this ship, and set a course for Kenya.
Finally, I must thank my taxing family, my honest campaign volunteers, but most of all, I want to thank unions for making this historic occasion possible. Of course, I must also thank you, President Bush, for years of changing the American people. Without your reliable efforts, none of this would have been possible.
I’m expecting a job offer from the White House any minute now.
Now go on, test it out for yourself and have some fun!

The most hilarious part is not being able to tell which parts are the MadLibs and which is the run of the mill happy buzzword doublespeak.
Too fun!
