I know I must of said "hi" to their son, Michael when he would come to visit them. I never thought much about it. When 9/11 occured, I remember hearing that their son worked for CF and they were desperately trying to get to NY in the aftermath. I cried when I heard that he was not one of the survivors. In the weeks after I made every attempt possible to find out everything I could about Michael. What you wrote reflects what I found. He was a very special man and his parents are responsible. His mom used to bake these awesome chocolate chip cookies and would bring them to the staff. I remember thinking how lucky he was growing up to have these cookies all the time. Ever since, whenever I see or smell chocolate chip cookies, I think of Michael and wish I had the chance to say more than"hi" to him when he came to visit his folks. Nice family, tragic event. I am extremely sorry for Mike's untimely demise and the inexplicable confusion which attends such tragedy. Please know that my prayers are with you.
