The White House was caught with its hand in the proverbial cookie jar when a brave artist dared to record what was thought to be a private phone conference between devoted Obama followers who had been instrumental in securing Obama’s campaign for the presidency.

Patrick Courrielche, an artist, producer, and contributer to Breitbart’s Big Hollywood, received a series of emails in early August from the National Endowment for the Arts, inviting him to participating in a “brand new discussion” between the NEA, the White House, several political organizations, and several select artists, producers, writers, actors, poets, gallery owners, influential individuals, and “cool people”, to discuss how the art community can best come together in order to “push the President, his administration, and his agenda.”

Yes, you read that right. The White House has directed the National Endowment for the Arts to bring together a coalition of artists and culturally influential individuals in order to produce creative works that will help push the President’s agenda.
I believe the dictionary would define such state-initiated works as “propaganda”.

But it didn’t stop there. Indeed, during the conversation, both the officials from the NEA and the White House specifically requested that the artists focus on several of Obama’s key platform issues, including health care, energy, and the environment. And just in case there’s any question as to the ideology they hoped this artwork would reflect, they specifically mentioned Shepard Fairey’s iconic ‘Hope’ poster and will.i.am’s “Yes We Can” song as examples of what they were hoping the artists could achieve. Yeah, they weren’t exactly hoping for bipartisan messages of patriotism.

Thankfully, when Mr. Courrielche received these emails, something didn’t feel quite right about this whole prospect. So when he joined in on the phone conference, he had his iPhone ready to record the entire conversation. If it hadn’t been for his bravery, this likely would have remained buried.
But the funniest part is, despite having an absolute record of each email and a complete audio recording of the entire conversation, the lead official from the NEA in this project, Yosi Sergant, is actually daring to deny any involvement in the project. But he doesn’t stop there; indeed, he’s trying to deny the project’s very existence. That’s a bit of a stretch, considering the fact that Mr. Sergant’s voice is heard throughout the entire recording, with him going so far as to even voice caution to the participants about being careful with their language, as they’re still ironing out certain legalities. Meaning, they know full well what they’re doing is crossing not only ethical boundaries, but legal ones as well.
Good luck denying all that, Mr. Sergant. You’re gonna need it.

I don’t have much time, as I’m trying to publish three quick posts here before heading off to bed, so I don’t have the best links and resources available for you yet. So please bear with me. But I simply had to post information about this for those of you who may have missed all the hubbub about this today. When I told a friend about this, their first response was, “What? You’ve got to be kidding, this has to be some sort of YouTube hoax, right?” That convinced me I couldn’t wait to post this.

Anyway, the best place to start is probably Mr. Courrielche blog entry that started it all. It’s a bit long, and unfortunately he doesn’t have the audio posted with it, but it’s well worth a read.
Click here to check it out.

As I said, unfortunately Mr. Courrielche hasn’t posted the recording on his blog yet, at least not as far as I’ve been able to find. I did manage to find a YouTube clip of an interview Mr. Courrielche gave to the Glenn Beck program. I know, I’m sorry I’m posting a link to Glenn Beck, I’m sure that will probably offend or upset some of my more moderate readers. Please, put aside your feelings about Mr. Beck, because Mr. Courrielche does a brilliant job of explaining the situation quite concisely. But most importantly, it features audio clips of the actual conversation.

I know there are more audio clips out there from the original recording, since I heard several on the news program where I first heard about this. Again, apologies for not having those ready, I’ve really got to get some sleep. I’ll do some more searching on this tomorrow and post more links as soon as I can.

According to Ahmad Yousuf, a political advisor to the leader of the terrorist Islamic group Hamas, Barack Obama’s campaign held secret meetings with Hamas during the Presidential race. But Obama’s representatives made sure to let Hamas know to keep quiet about these meetings, for fear that the American people might not like this so much and it might harm his electoral prospects.
Hmm, ya think?!

The School’s Response to Biased Teacher Video

Thanks to my friend at POW in CA, I have additional information for you regarding the video I posted previously under the headline, “Your Taxes at Work”. The teacher in the video is Ms Diantha Harris, who is employed at Mary McArthur Elementary School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. For those of you not familiar with the military, that school is located near Fort Bragg.
As the daughter of a military veteran, I’m completely outraged at her treatment of that poor little girl. I know at least a portion of the fears that little girl must be going through, as I saw my father being sent off on military duty many, many times as a young child. To have a teacher ream into her like that, it’s reprehensible. There is no excuse for that behavior, none whatsoever. In my opinion, no amount of re-training can ever make up for what she’s done in this video. But what makes this worse, is she knew she was being video taped. What has she done outside the scope of a camera? What else have these poor children been subjected to under her tutelage?

Thankfully the school superintendent is aware of the situation, has already begun an investigation, and has pledged to take “appropriate action.” I hope that “appropriate action” is having that woman fired. No other consequence would satisfy the scope of her offense.

If you’d like to see what the superintendent had to say, click here. I’ll also be hosting a copy of the response, just for the sake of archiving it. To see it, click “more”.

This is wrong on so many levels. Watch it all the way to the end.

I’ve never been a conspiracy theorist. I’ve never worn a tinfoil hat, never had any desire to. But this is scary as hell. You just saw a man assaulted and arrested by the Philadelphia police department for daring to wear a McCain-Palin t-shirt after the election. He did not do anything wrong, did not violate any laws; he was simply exercising his right to freedom of speech. I sure as hell hope this man sues for his rights being trampled on.
Welcome to the age of Obama.

P.s. A friend reminded me, I should probably point out that I do not agree with the anti-Israel, anti-establishment message at the end of the video. It’s just the actual arrest shown in the video that ticks me off.

You absolutely have to see this. It’s a video from a Finnish documentary that shows a teacher completely brow beating one of her students for supporting John McCain, while coddling the students who support Barack Obama. Remember, this is a public school. What she’s doing is illegal, and worst of all, apparently she knows it! Pay attention to her little speech at the end of the video.

I think it’s about time this woman was fired, don’t you? We don’t need our children beaten up for their beliefs, scared by falsehoods about their parents, and outright brainwashed by their teachers. This is pathetic. Yes, lady, opinions are fine, but you’re an authority figure in that classroom. By law you are required to check your political opinions at the door and be completely neutral. Otherwise you’re abusing your authority. Period.
We have a serious problem in this nation, in our schools especially. Apparently the rest of the world can see it, so why can’t we?

I’ve just found a wonderful complete scan of the first issue of Osawatomie, the Weather Underground’s newsletter. In it they lay out their plan to “revolutionize” our country, “working from the inside”, encouraging “organizers” who will work in “communities” and use “audacity” to bring about “socialism” in America. It’s a really interesting look at what the Weather Underground stood for, the messages behind the bombings. Check it out, it’s really enlightening, fascinating, and kind of depressing.

This Just Makes Me Want to Cry

I’ve been awake all night, feeling miserable, so I won’t really have too much to say, but I just saw this and it seriously makes me want to cry. Will they really stop at nothing?

SONORA, CA – The California Republican party is asking the secretary of state to investigate an organized voting campaign involving developmentally disabled adults in Tuolumne County.

As many as ten clients of the Thumbs Up! adult care center have already cast absentee ballots under the supervision of center director David Simerley, and nearly all of them were for Barack Obama.

“We all registered to vote and we all sat together as a group and went over our ballots and voted,” Simerley told News10.

Among those voting was Michael Rascon, 56, whose father described him as having the mental capacity of a 5-year-old.

“What kind of people would do this to somebody like that,” asked Sam Rascon, who discovered his son had registered and voted only after seeing him with an Obama button last Thursday. “He wouldn’t know one candidate from another.”

News10 spoke to Michael Rascon at the Thumbs Up! center about the election. When asked which candidate he’d voted for, Rascon answered “the black man.” He was unable to remember Obama’s name.

Simerley said the absentee voting followed field trips to both local Republican and Democratic party headquarters.

“When we register people to vote, we try to be totally non-partisan,” Simerley said. He insists he exerted no influence over his clients despite the fact nearly all of them voted Democratic in an otherwise Republican county.

“I think maybe Obama would appeal to people with disabilities,” he explained.

Clients interviewed by News10 agreed that Simerley had allowed them to choose their candidate freely although Simerley filled out the ballots for those who can’t read or write. One client said he voted for McCain.

Simerley said his voting campaign also involved developmentally disabled adults not directly under his care. Tuolumne County clerk Deborah Russell confirmed Simerley took out 25 voter registration cards in January, but she could not say how many had been returned.

Russell said she’s asked the district attorney to investigate the specific complaint by Sam Rascon that his son was manipulated.

California Republican party leaders are calling on Secretary of State Debra Bowen to conduct a broader investigation of Simerley’s activities, according to the party’s communications director Hector Barajas.

When asked about it on Tuesday, Bowen had not yet heard of the complaint. “The situation’s never arisen,” Bowen said.

She explained there is no prohibition against developmentally disabled adults voting without a court order declaring them incompetent.

Simerley defends his actions despite complaints from Sam Rascon and other parents of his adult clients. One parent actually tore up her son’s absentee ballot before it was mailed.

“Our mission is to help these people become valued, respected citizens,” he said. “And one of the most important things is to vote.”

This is absolutely appalling. These poor disabled people were taken advantage of by ruthless political profiteers. It doesn’t sink any lower than taking advantage of the weakest, most helpless amongst us, just to attain power.
Remember, this was done without the consent of their families! Their families are the ones who have the legal right to make decisions on their behalf! Not the director of that facility, not the employees; the families.
This is hideous, beyond hideous. Do Obama supporters really believe that they cannot win based solely on the merits of their ideas, but rather they must trample upon the most helpless amongst us just to get ahead? Power attained via treachery and deceit will never be exercised with wisdom and benevolence. It never has and it never will.

This is a clear and obvious case of absolute voter intimidation, manipulation, and outright fraud. I sincerely hope the families of the individuals who were victimized in this situation will stand up for their rights and hold these people accountable for their hideous actions. I hope those who speak on the behalf of these people will speak up now, because let there be no doubt, the people under the care of that home were manipulated, victimized, and utterly extorted. This is not the behavior of a democracy, this is not in the spirit of a democratic election. This is hideous and it must be stopped. This wrong must be righted immediately.

Secret Service Being Used As ‘Thought Police’

I just flat out can’t believe it’s come to this… What in the hell has happened to our country? Listen to this clip from a radio program that one of my favorite YouTubers put up today. It’s an interview with a woman from Texas who received a phone call from a volunteer with the Obama campaign. When the volunteer asked the woman if she would support Barack Obama, this is what the woman had to say: “No, I don’t support him. Your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the state senate to let little babies die in hospital closets. I think you should find something better to do with your time.”
She hung up, expecting that to be the end of it. But the very next day, she was confronted by two Secret Service agents on her porch. Listen as she explains what happened.

Could those Secret Service agents have been any more flat-out intimidating!? They have a file on her, they make it apparent to her that they have this file, and then they go and say, “Look, you know, we’re trying to help you out, we came to you first, right, we didn’t go to all your neighbors and your family and ask embarrassing questions about you yet.” Did you catch that? “Yet”?! YET?! What other intention could there be behind such a statement than to intimidate the hell out of someone? If you translate that into its most basic intention, it’s, “Cooperate with us now or we’re going to drag your dirt around to every single person you know.”
Thank heaven they decided to pick on a real Texas woman who stood her ground, knew her rights, and wouldn’t bend to their ruthless intimidation.

Congratulations, America! We have our very own thought police in our own country, right here, right now, in the United States of America. But beyond even that, what makes this even worse, is that we have a point of comparison; we have a direct example of this frightening double standard.
In this instance, with nothing but the word of a single volunteer from the Obama campaign, the Secret Service shows up to intimidate this poor woman. Now compare that to something that I wrote about in only my second blog entry. In that entry, I posted a video of the “comedienne” Sandra Bernhardt. The clip is from a performance she gave in Washington, DC where she flat out threatened Sarah Palin, saying that if Palin dared set foot in New York, Ms. Bernhardt would call a bunch of her “big black guy friends” to have her gang raped. Now, did any Secret Service agents show up at Sandra Bernhardt’s door?
Somehow I doubt it, yet it’s perfectly alright for the Secret Service to intimidate some poor woman in her own home, without any evidence that she’d ever uttered a single threatening word? Is this setting a very good precedent? Does this scare anyone else? I honestly don’t like the idea of some random person having the power to accuse me of issuing a threat, that is then taken seriously by the Secret Service, who shows up on my doorstep to interrogate me about my thoughts, whilst making every attempt to intimidate me into compliance. Where’s the justice in that? Where’s the due process in that? Where’s the sanity in that?

That poor woman has every right in the world to face her accuser, not to mention the right to sue the living backside off the lying weasel. She also deserves a massive apology from Obama himself. Anything less than that would be a mockery of our American justice system.

The Kindness, Tolerance & Moral Superiority of Obamaniacs

While the news is focusing on recent outbursts at McCain rallies, I doubt anyone’s bothering to mention a few of the things going on at those rallies that might be aggravating participants. Things like this.

Imagine, if you will, if a Republican showed up at an Obama rally wearing t-shirts that said, “Obama is a N*gger!” What do you think the reaction would be? I bet they wouldn’t be allowed in and I bet it would be all over the news the following day as yet another example of “right-wing bigotry”.
But when it’s Obamaniacs who show up at a Republican rally, wearing t-shirts that say “Sarah Palin is a c*nt”? (Which, in my opinion, is one of the most disgusting words anyone could ever fling at another human being.) No one notices, no one cares, and no one bothers to explain the kind of treatment these rally goers are subjected to that might have contributed to their outbursts during the rally. No, of course they couldn’t talk about that on the news! Democrats aren’t the problem, it’s those right-wing bigots!

As an Independent, I’m always happy to point out when there are failings on both sides. But honestly, I’m so sick and tired of the radical left’s constant air of moral superiority, looking down on the right as if the left is perfect in its kindness, tolerance of others, and infinite wisdom. Somehow that just doesn’t jive when they’re the ones showing up at rallies with profane and insulting t-shirts.
If the left is our country’s shining example of tolerance, then we’re doomed. Silly me, here I thought tolerance was about acknowledging our differences, maturely agreeing to disagree, and respecting their rights as an individual to do as they please. But apparently, to the party of sitting on high horses (or high jackasses…), tolerance is about spitting in the faces of anyone who dares disagree with you. It’s about calling names, ridiculing others, and reducing debates to nothing more than shouting matches.

Naturally, this is only one instance. How can only one small group of people with nasty t-shirts lead to me saying such broad things about Obama supporters as a whole? Because these people are only following the instructions of their dear leader, Barack Obama. They’re only following his orders to “argue” and “get in the faces” of anyone who dares to disagree with them. I’d say those four individuals are working hard to make their beloved leader proud.
As for me, I find it disgusting. I was worried about behavior like this the minute I heard Obama give those orders. Now we’re seeing the consequences.
Mr. Obama, you reap what you sow; look at the disrespect you planted and the behavior you’re harvesting.

The New York Times reported yesterday that Barack Obama’s campaign finance records are riddled with fictitious donors, leaving his campaign with thousands – possibly even millions – of dollars in donations that are completely untraceable. Does that smell fishy to anybody else?
