I saw this on the news last night and just about popped a cork:

Disgusting isn’t it?

As a point of comparison, consider this: the folks over at TheConservatives.com have put together a brilliant post illustrating the many varied differences between the Bush & Obama administrations’ reactions to dissent. Naturally, I’m no fan of President Bush, but the differences in approach are quite illuminating, if a bit disgusting. Click here to check it out.

I have to say, I’m absolutely disgusted with the way the White House, certain members of Congress, and the DNC have been handling the rather raucous reactions certain lawmakers have been getting at town hall meetings back in their districts, especially with regard to health care reform. Rather than react like adults and acknowledge the rights of free speech that make this country great – even if those who are exercising those rights disagree with you – they’re behaving more like spoiled children. Anyone who disagrees with them is met with dirty looks, accusations, and a fair bit of pouting. Obama certainly did bring change to the White House. Unfortunately it’s change in the wrong direction, toward an absolute contempt for dissent. I dare say, I doubt that’s the sort of change most voters were expecting.

But really, shouldn’t most people have known better? After all, Obama was the one who gave this edict to his supporters regarding how they should react should they ever meet someone who dares oppose the Dear Leader: “I want you to talk to ‘em whether they’re independent or they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face!”
Yeah, that’s how an adult calmly carries out a “thoughtful discussion”, the like Robert Gibbs said the orchestrated astroturf protesters were disrupting. But then again, I guess it takes one to know one when it comes to astroturfing. I suppose if you’re a Community Organizer who’s surrounded by fake, generated populist hysteria, you just don’t know how to react when someone’s actually genuine with their concerns about government overstepping its bounds. When everything you do is carefully orchestrated, when every person who asks questions at campaign stops is carefully pre-screened, perhaps you think everyone engages in the same sort of manipulation.

Surprise, surprise. Some of us out here in America actually do care enough about our country to stand up for our beliefs, even if someone isn’t paying us to do so. Myself included. I’m not getting paid a single cent to operate this blog. I don’t even accept ad revenue. And yet here I am, continuing to dedicate my time to voicing my opinions, and spending my own money to do so. And rest assured, if my health would permit me to attend a town hall or two, I’d be there giving a polite earful to my representatives as well.

In short, Mr. Obama, I’m an actual American who doesn’t need a Community Organizer to tell me what to do, what to say, and how to say it. Disagree with me all you like, but don’t you dare dismiss me, insult me, or devalue my right to voice my own opinions.

To the rest of you who are able to attend town halls with your representatives, please remember to be cordial, respectful, and polite, while of course being forceful, sincere, and honest. I realize these issues are important to us, I realize things are getting heated, but we don’t need to shout, we don’t need to scream, and we don’t need to behave like an angry mob. Leave those tactics to Acorn, because quite frankly, such tactics are beneath us. Let’s act like the adults that we are, not like the sniveling spoiled children in Washington.

I’m SO tempted to make this NO-Pelosi too…

From Tom Gross’ media blog over at National Review:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s home district includes San Francisco.

Star-Kist Tuna’s headquarters are in San Francisco, Pelosi’s home district.

Star-Kist is owned by Del Monte Foods and is a major contributor to Pelosi.

Star-Kist is the major employer in American Samoa employing 75 percent of the Samoan workforce.

Paul Pelosi, Nancy’s husband, owns $17 million dollars of Star-Kist stock.

In January, 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than their competition’s.

Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an “economic development credit in American Samoa.”

Pelosi has called the Bush administration “corrupt.”

She should know.

I lost pretty much any shred of respect I had left for Nancy Pelosi after her “waaaa, we didn’t do it, it’s all their fault!” speech on the floor of the Senate about the housing crisis. That’s the spirit of “bipartisanship” I’m expecting from the White House over the next four years. Why? Because that’s all the bipartisanship I’ve seen them these clowns.
I swear, the Democratic Party would be so much better off if they could just boot Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid right out the door. With Howard Dean in particular, I’ve despised that man ever since I went to a rally of his while he was still running for the presidency in 2004. My liberal brother made me go, in an attempt to “open my mind to other possibilities”. The only possibility I discovered there was that, wow, there really are people in this country who love socialism, yet have never seen the effects of socialism first-hand. I hate to say it so bluntly, but seriously, that rally was scary as hell. I had to sit there in silence while Howard Dean literally railed against this country. One day I’ll write a post explaining everything that happened that day, cause seriously, most people would love to know what the chairman of the DNC had to say when speaking to a crowd of the fully converted, plus one little outsider: me. :)

HUGE Sigh of Relief!!!

This is going to be a little disorganized, full of typos, and unedited, because I can barely type and I really need to sleep. I had to have a horrid, horrid, HORRID test done today where I had injections in between each and every one of my fingers. Not only did I have to deal with the needle stick in those sensitive areas, but then they had to inject a really thick radioactive contrast. I have to say, I’ve gone through a lot – amputations, stroke, having my hands cut open while being completely awake & aware – yet this stupid test ranks up there with the worst of them. It was that bad. I mean, it literally felt like my hands were being ripped apart finger by finger.
Sorry, I know this isn’t the blog to rant about my medical problems, but I just had to vent to somebody! Bad, bad, bad day.
Oh well, at least I got ice cream afterward, and I never go out for ice cream anymore. Ever. Normally it’s just not worth the calories, but today, I just flat out didn’t care about calories. I wanted cinnamon ice cream and chocolate cake batter ice cream in the biggest freaking chocolate-and-sprinkle-coated waffle bowl you could imagine. So there.

Anyway, now on to the actual post. Excuse me while I post in all caps and bold, cause despite everything that happened today, I’m just that excited.

OBAMA AND THE DNC MISSED THE DEADLINE TO SHOW PROOF OF OBAMA’S CITIZENSHIP IN COURT!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my freaking gosh, that’s so exciting. After that last video I posted (which you HAVE to see), man, I was really starting to get scared. When I started doing my research, I was so committed to not hating either candidate no matter what I found. I was so committed to not believing in conspiracy theories and tin-foil-hat silliness. But come on, everything that’s out there that’s been confirmed, holy crap, it’s scary as hell. And I mean scary. I think the campaigning for his Marxist, socialist, Russian-funded, genocidal, government-over-throwing, anti-American, anti-Christian, pro-Islamic law, hateful, violent, murderous cousin, all while on a trip funded by American taxpayers, where he was acting as an official representative of OUR government, man, that was the last straw for me. I couldn’t take it anymore. I’ll admit it, I’m actually afraid of this man now. I’m actually afraid of who he is, what his intentions are, and what he would do to us, our government, OUR country. Watching the footage that’s out there of him standing right by his cousin, who’s spouting hateful, vicious, anti-American/pro-Islamic extremism, that made my skin crawl. Or as the media would say, I had a thrill up my leg, but not a good one.
I mean, if it was just his cousin and Obama didn’t have any contact with him at all, I wouldn’t hold Obama responsible for what his family members did. Even if it was that bad, I wouldn’t, because I know that your extended family are not your responsibility. I’ve had cousins and other relatives do things that I don’t want to have anything to do with, so I really do understand that. Of course, they’re not inciting genocide, but you know what I mean.
But that’s not the case here. Obama campaigned for the guy. He was standing right there, smiling, and waving to the crowd while his cousin Odinga was spouting this violent filth. They even used the same campaign slogan of “change.” I doubt that’s a coincidence.

I found out the details about that this morning, so imagine my glee when I find out tonight, after returning home from the hospital, that Obama and the DNC missed the deadline. That explains the all caps, doesn’t it? :) Because it means that we are pretty much guaranteed that we will not have a President Obama. Even if he wins the election, I highly doubt this issue will be dropped. Even if the media continues to ignore it, I don’t think Berg will give up. Hell, even if – heaven forbid – something happens to the man, I’m sure others will step up and take his place. I would, if I were a lawyer. Because this is SO important.

Wow. Talk about exciting. But of course, it’s not all good news. The Democratic Party have perpetrated what I think is the largest and most extensive fraud our government has ever, ever seen. I’m serious. They have violated the sanctity of our elections. In an era where people already feel disenfranchised from their government, they’re already so wary and distrustful of the electoral process, what do you think this is going to do to the confidence of our citizens in our government? It could very well throw us into chaos, and you cannot help but think that the DNC knows this. And if they know it, what are their intentions? Why would they seek to do this? This speaks more to the patriotism of Obama, Dean, and their like, than anything else about flag pins, saluting the flag, or anything else. They are risking outright chaos and they’re getting close to succeeding.

This whole mess will be made so much more disastrous than it needs to be if the media continues to ignore it and voters are allowed to cast their votes without knowing the whole story. That’s why I believe it’s up to us to spread the word. I was already planning on addressing this issue with some kind of campaign after the election is over, the idea that we the people somehow need to come up with our own system of spreading news amongst ourselves outside of the media. Because we just can’t rely on them anymore. Our reliance on them is damaging our sovereignity, and it scares me.
I believe this cannot wait any longer. I figured the job was too big to handle before the election, but this issue is so, so, so important that we need to do something about it now. Please, tell your friends, tell your family, tell them to tell their friends and families. This news NEEDS to get out and it needs to get out NOW. People deserve the right to know they are being defrauded by the Democratic Party on such a massively unbelievable scale. They deserve to know that this has been confirmed in court by Obama and the DNC’s own inaction. According to the law – Rule 36 – inaction of this nature IS a declaration of guilt. I’m not making this up. They are legally admitting every single charge of Berg’s lawsuit (which I’ll list below.)

Please, notify everyone you know! Try to be as bipartisan as possible! Everyone needs to remember that individual Democrats must not be attacked or disrespected for the behavior of their party leaders. Individual Democrats are the first victims here, so please be gentle but confident in your delivery. Be bipartisan, kind, considerate, and respectful of others. Stick to the facts and let them see the truth for themselves.
I would suggest just sending them the link to Berg’s press release about it and just a short little summation about just how important it is that they know about what their party and their candidate has done. Tell them they need to know about it, and let that be that.
Of course, that’s not to say that Independents and Republicans don’t need to know about it either. Because they’re victims too, we all are. We’re all victims and we all need to come together as one to demand justice for our sake, and the sake of our country.

This is getting way too long and my hands are killing me, so I’ll wrap this up for now. But please, please, please, spread the news. Spread it as far and as wide as you can. Voters deserve to know the truth and they deserve to know it NOW. People are already voting! Don’t wait, don’t stop now. I can barely move my fingers and yet I’m typing! If I can do that, I know you can share this with a few people. I have faith in you, I know you can. So please, get out there, and tell the people what they need to know.
Our country needs us now more than ever before. We have the chance to be Paul Revere and warn our fellow citizens. Let’s live up to our history, let’s live up to our heritage as Americans, and take charge for our own sake and for the sake of our country.
